For the first time in almost two years, All Elite Wrestling returned to Chicago in what could be the most important episode of AEW TV since Dynamite’s debut. Labeled “The First Dance”— an obvious allusion to the Michael Jordan-produced documentary “The Last Dance”— CM Punk made his anticipated return to wrestling after seven years in retirement on Friday’s episode of Rampage. Yes, folks, the best in the world is back and we have a lot to say about it!
This week on Talk AEW, we discuss Punk’s return and what we hope to see from the former WWE champion moving forward. As always, Ricky delivers his usual rapid-fire questions and ending the show is our discussion of the ‘Five Labors of Jericho’ and why the ending left us wanting more.
