TALK AEW
TALK AEW Podcast #1: One Year of Dynamite and 30 years of Jericho
There’s no script for what happens outside the ring.
AEW PODCAST: Episode 1
When AEW launched its flagship show Dynamite on TNT last year, it marked the first time since 2014 that WWE faced direct competition from a global promotion on a major cable network. The show’s debut drew 1.4 million viewers and proved that there was a large audience looking for something to watch outside of what was being produced by Vince McMahon. Fast forward a year later and AEW has been one of the bright spots in what has been a tough year. Dynamite is arguably one of the most exciting programs on television; Dark has become the best thing to watch on YouTube and almost every AEW pay-per-view event has been a runaway success!
One year later and we finally decided to put together our very one podcast breaking down the good, the bad, and the downright amazing moments of each episode of Dynamite, Dark, and each pay-per-view. Yes, folks, there are plenty of AEW podcasts, but we guarantee this is one of the best you’ll hear!
In the inaugural episode of Talk AEW, Ian Goodwillie, Ricky D and Mariko McDonald sit down to talk about the career of Le Champion, Chris Jericho and the 30-year anniversary special held on October 9 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. In the main event, the gang discusses the one-year anniversary show of Dynamite and everything good and bad about it. All this and more!
Listen to the show on Podbean, iTunes, YouTube and Spotify.
